Governance

The Governing Committee, elected by members of CRAICCHS, undertake executive management of the corporation on behalf of the membership and enter into contractual agreements with departments and agencies of the Commonwealth and Queensland Government.

The Governing Committee manage and control the affairs of CRAICCHS in accordance with the Constitution and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Councils and Associations Act 1976.

Make-up of the Governing Committee

The Governing Committee contains no less than 7 Governing Committee Members, and thus, a quorum of 5 Governing Committee Members.

Governing Committee Members are elected on the rotational system as specified in the Constitution at each Annual General Meeting.

Office Bearers

The Committee at their first meeting shall elect the Office Bearers of the Corporation after the annual general meeting:
